BooksAroundYou helps people discover, lend, and borrow physical books within trusted Circles. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these Terms.

You must provide accurate account details and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

Circles are private groups managed by their members and admins. BooksAroundYou provides the tools to organise listings, requests, lending periods, and reminders; it does not take ownership of books or arrange physical collection, delivery, or return.

Lenders and borrowers should agree handovers directly, respect the stated lending period, and treat books with care. If a book is lost, damaged, delayed, or disputed, the people involved should work out a fair solution directly.

Please keep Circles safe, respectful, and limited to people you trust.

• Do not use BooksAroundYou to harass, mislead, spam, or impersonate anyone.
• Do not share another person’s contact information outside a legitimate book handover.
• Do not list books you are not willing or entitled to lend.
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity or commercial spam.

Features may change, be added, or be removed as the service improves. We may suspend access where needed to protect users, the service, or its security.
